Put on the Spirit of Jesus Christ

Dear Friends, A hearty welcome to the Southern Indian Province of the Congregation of the Mission. With gratitude and hope, I share with you the vision of our Province. At the heart of our calling is a simple yet profound mission: to preach Christ and to make His love visible in our world. We believe that preaching Christ is not only through words spoken from the pulpit, but through lives that reflect His compassion, humility, and mercy. Our vocation invites us to be close to the people, to listen deeply, and to walk together in faith. In a special way, we exist for the poor and the marginalized. In serving them, we encounter Christ Himself. Their struggles call us to deeper solidarity, and their resilience strengthens our commitment. We desire to be a Province that stands with the poor, defends their dignity, and becomes a living sign of hope in their lives. May all that we do proclaim the love of Christ and bring comfort, justice, and peace to those who need it most.
