With the vision of forming the students in their own respective states with the cultural backgrounds and also to send them to regular colleges it was decided to open study houses in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu, besides the Minor Seminary in Mysore. In Tamilnadu, Tambaram was found to be a suitable place and a study House was opened in 1999. For a few years it functioned as it was desired but later on in 2004 the Novitiate of the province was shifted from Pachani to Dharcast. And now it is the Novitiate House of the Province, where the students do their internal seminary for a term of one year. The seminary has the capacity to accommodate about 25 students and the necessary staff.
