01. Fr. Saji Ayppenparambil, C.M., Superior and parish Priest

Periyakulathupatty parish in the Diocese of Trichy Tamilnadu was inaugurated on 6th September 2004. It was a sub station of N. Poolampatty Parish and for the spiritual, Social, and economical developments of people of this area, it was erected a parish and entrusted to the Congregation. Rev. Fr. Saji Aypenparambil was appointed the first Parish Priest of Periyakulathupatty. This parish has got 350 Catholic families spread over 3 villages. Most of the people are agricultural laborers and they live below poverty line. The parish has a primary school where about 150 students can be accommodated. We are involved in re-organizing the parish. We have formed basic Christian communities and youth groups. We also conduct tuitions for the students. With the hard work of Rev. Fr. Saji, we have been able to construct a good presbytery with necessary conveniences. We are also constructing a new church and the construction is on the half way and is expected to be over in a few months.
